INDIAN JOURNAL OF HISTORY OF SCIENCE General Instructions for the Contributors About the Journal Indian Journal of History of Science is a peer-reviewed quarterly that publishes original research papers on the history of science, technology, and concepts, including translation and critical assessment of original technical sources. It is devoted to the research on the development of ancient-medieval and colonial-modern sciences in India from historical, social, philosophical, scientific and technological aspects with their international perspectives. It is published in March, June, September and December under the guidance of the Indian National Commission for History of Science by Indian National Science Academy. The papers are published on the understanding that they are not offered elsewhere for publication. Classical texts with English translation and explanatory notes are also accepted for publication serially in the Supplement section. Contributors to the Supplement are entitled to receive five free bound copies of their manuscript in book form after its publication. For the purpose of a book review, two copies of the book(s) may be sent to the Editor, Indian Journal of History of Science, Indian National Science Academy, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi 110002. Manuscript Submission: The authors are expected to submit a neatly typed version of the manuscript, preferably using Times Roman (10-12 point), either in TeX or as a Word file. A list of 6-8 keywords arranged alphabetically may also be provided below the abstract. Acknowledgements are to be placed separately at the end of the paper before References. The journal is printed in four colours, hence the authors are expected to provide high-quality colour images for them to be suitably processed in order to maintain the publication standards of the journal. More detailed information can be seen in the link given.
